The running shoes for today’s evaluation are adidas 4DFWD, I have been wearing them for a week after receiving the shoes, and the following is the following 4 aspects to talk about the evaluation experience:
· Stable & support
· Cushioning ¥ rebound
· Wear resistance & weight
· Breathable & wrapped
Many people preconceive that the support of this shoe must be very poor when they see the sole of 4DFWD, but in fact, the foot will find that the support performance of the mesh material is not bad at all. Conversely, because the midsole of the one-piece grid structure is more evenly stressed, even if it turns suddenly, you will feel the strong support brought by the fixing material on the outside of the heel, which also largely avoids sprains.
In addition, in the past few days, I have tested asphalt and plastic runways respectively, and I also feel the stability and wear resistance brought by the rubber outsole.
· Cushioning & rebound
This generation of adidas 4DFWD has a significant improvement in cushioning performance, with official data improving cushioning performance by 23% compared to previous 4D running shoes, tripling forward movement under vertical loads, and reducing peak braking force by 15%.
During the running process, when the foot is under the tribal ground, you can feel the deformation and rebound of the sole of the foot more clearly, it will be more labor-saving, and there is a pleasure of automatically running forward.
The UK 6.5g 254g is lighter than the previous generation and easier to run.
The outsole is a piece of rubber with protruding dots. The two main actuation points on the inside of the forefoot and the outside of the rear palm are larger and clearer, providing better grip. The thickness of the rubber outsole is quite good, and the wear resistance can stand the test.
The upper is based on past mapping data, and the sock fit structure supports the feet and also brings a better wrapping experience. After getting on the foot, both the toes and the heel can adapt well, and there will be a stronger feeling of wrapping after tightening the laces, but there will be no pressure.
The Primegreen fabric also brings good breathability, and the feet will not be stuffy and sweaty after running 10 kilometers, so the breathability is also good.
Finally, the overall feeling, adidas 4DFWD is really comfortable, not as hard as previous generations, and the foot feel is great. I can also feel full propulsion during running, the cushioning effect is sufficient, the impact from the bottom up is reduced when landing, and the pressure on the knees is relieved, so I don’t worry about getting hurt when jogging in it.
But I think this running shoe is more suitable for running 10 kilometers and below, suitable for jogging, comfortable and labor-saving. In short, this running shoe is still very practical, usually jogging training, gym iron, or daily street can be. And I am also looking forward to the continuous upgrade of adidas 4DFWD. Perhaps one day, the trend-setting running shoe will be the adidas 4DFWD.
