Fuzhou, December 22 (Reporter Liu Kageng) “Long March”, “Ten Thousand Mountains Red Everywhere”, “Red Boat Spirit”… On the 22nd, the red theme works created by Chinese arts and crafts masters Guo Gongsen, Chen Lizhong, Chen Yijing and other famous artists appeared in the Fujian Shoushan Stone Carving Boutique Exhibition, which received extensive attention from the industry.
On the same day, the Fujian Shoushan Stone Carving Exhibition was launched in Fuzhou Fujian Strait Folk Art Museum, displaying more than 40 Shoushan stone carvings. Focusing on the theme of the centenary of the founding of the CPC, three generations of Shoushan stone carving artists have created a series of red-themed works with knives.

In the exhibition hall, the Shoushan stone carving work “Long March” by Chinese arts and crafts master Guo Gongsen is like a vivid “three-dimensional danqing”, portraying the optimistic, cheerful and firm image of the Red Army officers and soldiers, showing the fearless spirit of revolutionary optimism; The inspiration for the Shoushan stone carving “Ten Thousand Mountains and Red Places” created by Chinese arts and crafts master Chen Lizhong came from “Qinyuan Spring Changsha”. In the work, the trees on the mountains are as brilliant as the morning sunset, and the fighting spirit of the Red Army shuttling through the forest is high; Fujian Arts and Crafts Master Huang Gonggeng’s “Dream of a Hundred Years of Rejuvenation” boldly integrates many elements representing Chinese culture, such as the continuous Great Wall, the graceful flying sky, the towering Chinese watch, and the awakened oriental lion.

Lin Xiaodong, a master jade carver from Fujian Province, told the audience about his creative techniques and mental journey before his exhibition “Spark Burning Plain”. “As young and middle-aged carving artists in the new era, we should explore and create works of art that conform to contemporary aesthetic characteristics and the main theme of the Acura era, and carry forward the traditional art of Shoushan stone carving.” Lin Xiaodong said.

Huang Wenming, director of the Fujian Straits Folk Art Museum, said that the theme of this exhibition is prominent, and the authors participating in this exhibition include both older artists and elites of different ages, reflecting the combination of ideology and artistry.
Chen Lizhong, master of Chinese arts and crafts and national representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage Shoushan stone carving skills, said that the Fuzhou Shoushan Stone Industry Association collected more than 40 Shoushan stone carvings to display the relevant masterpieces of the theme of the centenary of the founding of the CPC, with the intention of narrating history with works, casting the soul of Bacon, and exploring the Chinese spirit in different periods of the centenary journey.
