2. Identify the pressure gauge
Fire extinguishers come with pressure gauges and generally have three color zones. When the pointer points to the red zone, it means that the dry powder pressure value in the fire extinguisher is too small, and it will not be able to spray out when encountering a fire, indicating that the fire extinguisher has failed. The green zone indicates that the pressure is normal and can be used normally. The yellow area indicates that the dry powder pressure in the fire extinguisher is too large, and although the dry powder can be sprayed, there is a risk of explosion and explosion.
3. Verify the scrapping date
