Occasionally, I talked about the choice of the wires with the workers who transformed the hydropower. Many parameters are fixed. For example, a line diameter, generally choose 2.5 square millimeters and 4 square millimeters; for example, material, generally choose copper wire. But there seems to be no conclusion: hard line or soft line?
When the workers heard my question, I asked me mysteriously: the soft line is good construction, and the hard line is more practical. How do you say you should choose? I understood it as soon as I heard that the workers liked the soft line, and the owner prefers hard lines.
What is a soft line/hard line?
The hard and hard of the wire is determined by the copper core. The conductors in the middle of the wire are copper, there is only one conductor of the hard wire, and the soft wire conductor is composed of multiple roots.
For example, a copper wire with a 2.5 square millimeter, and the hard line is made of a copper core with a diameter of 1.78mm. The soft line is composed of 19 copper wires with a diameter of 0.41mm.
The single copper wire is thin, and it is softer after the combination, so it is called “soft line”.
The professional model of the soft line is “BVR”, and the hard line model is “BV”.
Workers prefer soft lines
Why do workers prefer soft lines? Mainly soft lines will be more convenient at construction.
The wires in our house need to be hidden in the thread tube. The threading tube is long and curved. If the wire is stiff, it is more troublesome to pass through the thread tube. If the wire is soft, you can automatically become the shape of the threading tube.
Furthermore, when installing switches, sockets, and lamps, you need to build in a narrow stagnation box. If it is a hard wire, the wire will be topped in the wiring box, and the switch socket will not be stuffed.
Using soft wires, the wires are “conscious” like a woolen group, hiding in the corner, almost no place. The switch socket is stuffed casually and will not be affected by the wire.
Hard line is more affordable
“Benefits” are reflected in two aspects:

, The same quality and parameters of the two kinds of wires, the price of the soft line is slightly higher. A plate (100 meters), the hard line is more than 30 yuan cheaper than the soft line.
Followed on installation
The soft line should be more troublesome.
Because the soft line is a very thin copper wire. When peeling the thread, a few copper wires are accidentally cut off. The copper wire is broken, which directly affects the load of the wire.
At this time, no matter how long we bought a thick wire, it has been paved. As long as a few copper wires are broken in the final connector, the load volume of the entire line will be reduced. 2.5 square millimeter wires may directly become 1.5 square millimeters.
Furthermore, the multiple copper wires in the soft line will fry four weeks like a wool ball. If not noticed during the wiring, a few of the copper wires are not gathered, and they may contact other wires, causing short circuits.
The workers said: “The failure of the short circuit of the wiring is basically in the scene of using the soft line.”
How should the hard line be installed?
Of course, hard lines are not perfect. The biggest problem with the hard line is not easy to repair: After using for several years, the wires may fail, and the wires need to be replaced at this time.
If it is a soft line, it is still soft whether it is put in the threading tube for a few years. Change the wire at this time and pull the wires directly from the thread tube.
If it is a hard line, it will be hard for a long time in the threading tube for a long time. The whole wire has become the shape of the thread tube, and it may not be able to pull it at all. At that time, it can only open the wall and the ground to take the wire, which is more destructive to the decoration.
However, the original words of the workers said: “All the disadvantages of the hard line are because they are not done well during the decoration.” If you want to solve the problem of “hard lines are not easy to repair”, you need to pay attention to two points when installation:
1. Try not to appear in right -angle bending, do not exceed 15m in length of a single thread tube. If you have to appear more than two right -angle bends, or if the length is particularly long, you can install a wiring box at a position of each two right corners or 15m.
Do not seal this wiring box, you can install a socket, or block it with a removable socket cover. It is convenient to pull the line from here during maintenance.
2. In the same threading tube, there are no more than 3 wires that pass through (the standard is that the 2.5 square millimeter line is not more than 6, the 4 -square millimeter line does not exceed 3, and the actual operation generally does not exceed 3).
This is to facilitate pulling lines, but also to reserve enough heat dissipation space for the wires, which is safer to use.
