Since this summer, Hitachi Automotive System will begin to supply samples to car manufacturers, and is committed to mass production in 2018.

In recent years, the medium -hybrid system that is assisted by batteries and motor -assisted drivers, especially the medium -hybrid system that uses 48V lithium -ion batteries, has received widespread attention in the Chinese and European auto market as a technology that improves automobile fuel consumption. Currently in Japan, a strong hybrid vehicle equipped with high voltage batteries above 100V is the mainstream of the market, and it is used for small -displacement models and uses a lithium ion battery with a voltage of 12V or a mid -power vehicle with a power capacitor*1 The development is limited. In contrast, the medium -hybrid system equipped with a 48V lithium -ion battery has both good fuel consumption effects and high cost performance, so it must be able to quickly popularize in Europe and China. It is estimated that by 2023, the annual output of China’s medium -mounted power vehicles will exceed 4 million, and Europe will reach 2 million vehicles*2, and the market will further expand in the future.

Hitachi Automobile System has closely grasped the development trend of the Chinese and European automotive markets. It will combine lithium -ion battery manufacturing technology and battery management system (BMS) technology for hybrid cars. In March of the year, the basic design of lithium -ion battery packs facing mixed power vehicles in 48V was completed.

The newly developed 48V lithium -ion battery pack has been loaded with BMS substrates, battery monomers, relays, and fuses in the same box, which has the characteristics of strong assembly and high reliability. The built -in square lithium -ion battery monomer has excellent performance in low temperature resistance, and the output density is 1.5 times that of the previous Hitachi battery monomer. When using the 48V system to accelerate the motor, it can give full play to its torque performance -achieved a maximum output power of more than 10kW in 10 seconds, and the maximum input power of more than 13kW. At the same time, the compact design of the battery pack has increased the degree of freedom configuration in the carriage.
