Some installation methods and precautions for wireless smoke sensors
Smoke detector (referred to as: smoke detector), using dual-source dual ionization chamber structure, can automatically track the drift of the working point caused by environmental changes, and its alarm sensitivity is in a stable state, effectively carrying out fire alarm and fault alarm.
The probe consists of a detection ionization chamber and a reference ionization chamber, etc., and outputs an alarm signal when foreign smoke (smoke particles) enters the measuring chamber and causes a change in ionized magnetic rays (current change into voltage change, monitored by the electronic system, and when the value exceeds the specified threshold).
If there is a centralized monitoring that requires an alarm host, you can use wireless, avoiding the complexity of wiring. If there is no need for networking, it can be used independently, which can be simpler and reduce costs.
Some methods and precautions for installing wireless smoke sensors are as follows:
1. The types of smoke sensors are independent type (directly powered by alkaline battery), networking type (some are yellow wire connected to COM public terminal, blue wire connected to NC normally closed terminal, green wire connected to NO normally open terminal), wireless type (according to the configuration requirements of the alarm host, the working frequency is 315MHz or 433MH optional, the address code and data code are coded on the transmitting module, and the alkaline battery is directly used for power supply.
2. When installing smoke sensors, it is necessary to avoid places with large air velocity, a large amount of dust, water mist or smokeless fires. Select the appropriate installation area to install the smoke sensor. Some smoke sensors are closed devices and are not allowed to be opened.
3. Avoid installing the smoke sensor too close to the door, window, fan and other places The generally faster circulation of air may affect the normal operation of the detector. Avoid installing smoke sensors in places with high tide temperatures, such as bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
4. Do not install the smoke sensor outdoors. If the smoke sensor is installed on a wall, the first detector needs to be at least 15cm away from the ceiling and 30cm at most, and the two adjacent detectors should be at least 60cm apart.
5. The ideal installation location of smoke sensor is villas, homes, shops, office warehouses, garages and other places.
6. If the smoke sensor is installed in the corridor, the distance between the corridor and the wall should not exceed 4m, and the two adjacent detectors should not exceed 8m. Wireless smoke sensors are generally installed within 3m from the ground, and consider dispersing probes in large rooms to ensure clean and dust-free.
7. The induction alarm needs to be dustproof and moisture-proof. Do not install the wireless smoke alarm in a temperature exceeding 10~50°C, or in a humid place.
8. The relationship between the protective area, protection radius and other parameters of the building smoke detector and the temperature detector is shown in the table:
