Recently, the Chang’an Road Police Station of the Beilin Branch of Xi’an Public Security successfully cracked a series of burglary cases, successfully arrested the criminal suspect Geng, and recovered stolen items worth more than 30,000 yuan. But the doors of the three stolen shops are all glass doors and use U-shaped locks, which is a bit surprising to prevent theft.
In the early morning of November 11, the Chang’an Road Police Station of the Beilin Branch of the Public Security Bureau received three reports of theft of three shops in its jurisdiction, including liquor, a small amount of gold and silver jewelry, three mobile phones, a laptop and other valuables, worth more than 30,000 yuan.
After receiving the police, the Chang’an Road Police Station attached great importance to it, and immediately arranged for the plainclothes investigation squadron to carry out on-site investigation work at the three crime sites, and collected surveillance video. Through two days and two nights of visits by the police and the analysis of the evidence collected, the criminal suspect Geng and his place of residence were locked. At about 18 o’clock on November 14, the police, who had been squatting in Geng’s residence for a day, arrested him in one fell swoop and successfully seized all the stolen property in his rented house.
After interrogation, the criminal suspect Geng, male, 29 years old, confessed that he was specifically looking for a street store with poor anti-theft measures to commit theft, confessed to many of his criminal facts, and has now been criminally detained by the Chang’an Road Police Station of the Beilin Branch of the Public Security Bureau in accordance with the law.
